The Imperial-class Star Destroyer known as the Agonizer served as the flagship for Admiral Teren Rogriss's Anti-Zsinj Task Force. As the home base for the 181st Imperial Fighter Group, the vessel was dispatched to Adumar with the intention of initiating talks with the Adumari people.
Following Adumar's choice to align with the New Republic, orders were given for the Agonizer to forcibly bring the planet under control. In response, the New Republic deployed a defensive fleet that engaged the Imperials, resulting in the Agonizer sustaining significant damage during the battle; however, it successfully retreated from the conflict.
