Akar Duel was a male Duros resident of Lotho Minor. Using components sourced from various droids, he constructed numerous junk droids, compelling their obedience via restraining bolts. Ultimately, with assistance from the droids Teetee and Doc, coupled with the arrival of C-3PO on the Millennium Falcon, the droids rebelled against Duel and achieved their liberation.
