Algunnis, a binary star, existed in the Trax sector of the Mid Rim region.
Description
Situated within the Algunnis system, this binary star resided in the Trax sector of the Mid Rim. Rather than planets, the star system featured a sizable asteroid belt circling the pair of stars.
History
Scientists working for the Imperial forces proposed that Algunnis, during the galaxy's early development, passed by numerous star systems and acquired planets. These planets were broken down into fragments due to immense gravitational forces, ultimately creating an enormous asteroid field. During the Galactic Civil War era, this belt lacked any established communities but served as a habitat for space slugs.
