The All Terrain Rapid Deployment Pod (AT-RDP) represented a particular model of Imperial assault ship that saw action during planetary invasion operations.
These substantial landing craft possessed the capacity to carry four AT-STs along with a contingent of personnel, including stormtroopers and Reborns. A significant quantity of these pods could be affixed to the underside of the Doomgiver, enabling their deployment onto a planet's surface. Their ovoid shape contained four internal levels, interconnected by a central elevator on each level. The four AT-STs occupied the expansive lower deck, oriented towards the exit ramps, while passenger accommodations were situated on the two upper levels. The ship's communication and sensor equipment was overseen by a commander from the elevated observation deck.
The Empire Reborn oversaw the construction of AT-RDPs within the confines of the Cairn Installation. On one occasion, Kyle Katarn was compelled to sabotage the construction of one of these vessels within the installation as a means of gaining access to the Doomgiver. These pods were subsequently deployed in the Battle of the Jedi Praxeum to deliver Remnant forces and walkers, encompassing Stormtroopers, Swamptroopers, Reborns, Shadowtroopers, and AT-STs. While some of these pods successfully landed on the Moon, many were destroyed in orbit by Rogue Squadron's X-Wings following Kyle Katarn's alerting of the squadron using the Doomgiver's communication array.
Similar pods, albeit smaller in scale, make an appearance in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, where they are employed to deploy AT-ST walkers on both Felucia and Raxus Prime.
