The Amateur Podracing Circuit consisted of seven podracing tracks spread across various planets located in the Outer Rim. Starting on Tatooine and concluding on Mon Gazza, veteran racers considered these courses easy, as they provided a high-speed entry point into the dangerous sport. The dramatic sight of a rookie pilot hurtling towards their death was a frequent occurrence in these competitions.
The circuit commenced at Tatooine's Mos Espa Grand Arena with a condensed edition of the Boonta Eve Classic course. Subsequent races took place on Mon Gazza, Ando Prime, Aquilaris, Malastare, and Oovo IV before the final race, which was also held on Mon Gazza.
The Amateur Circuit's courses incorporated sections from many of the longer, more intricate tracks found in the Semipro Podracing Circuit, Galactic Podracing Circuit, and Invitational Podracing Circuit.
Victories in the Amateur Podracing Circuit unlocked playable characters such as Teemto Pagalies, Aldar Beedo, Clegg Holdfast, Fud Sang, and Mars Guo. Achieving first place in every race unlocked the initial race of the Invitational Podracing Circuit.
