Andowyne, a planet situated within the Kathol Rift, was deeply connected to the Force. It served as the original world for the Brownie, Daikini, Nelwyn, and potentially even midi-chlorian organisms. After being largely unknown to the galaxy for a considerable period, it was eventually found again by Jedi historians within the Jedi Archives.
StarWars.com released a set of databank entries on April Fool's Day in 2006, which is when Andowyne's name first appeared. The update page implied that the Shadow War Chronicles series of novels would be re-released as a Star Wars omnibus, integrating the Willow storyline into the Star Wars universe. However, two days later, a disclaimer was added to the update page, clarifying that the Databank entries were a prank and that the novels remained outside of the official canon.
