Anky Fremp was a Skup whose story unfolded on Level 88 within the Corellian Sector of Nar Shaddaa, a moon. Being a biomorph, Anky possessed an innate talent for theft, a skill he honed into a successful career as a professional thief.
In the year 2 BBY, he crossed paths with a seventeen-year-old Rodian called Greedo. Anky revealed to Greedo the secrets of survival on the harsh streets of Nar Shaddaa. He instructed him in the arts of stealing, negotiating deals in the black market, and evading the grasp of Corellian Port Control. Anky then introduced Greedo to a ship merchant by the name of Shug Ninx and his assistant, Warb. Anky would occasionally direct business to Shug by pilfering power couplings and therm pumps from other vessels and selling them to Shug at reduced prices. Anky was present on the day Greedo made an attempt to steal a pair of Dekk-6 power couplings from the YT-1300 light freighter famously known as the Millennium Falcon. Sadly for Greedo, the ship's pilot, Han Solo, and his Wookiee co-pilot, Chewbacca, intervened. Shortly after this unfortunate event, Anky and Greedo went their separate ways, as Greedo chose the life of a bounty hunter over the path of a common thief on the streets of Nar Shaddaa. Anky then continued his profession, selling stolen ship parts to Shug Ninx.
