The Kiffu Annexation represents a period of strife following 3653 BBY amidst the Cold War, where the re-established Sith Empire seized power over Kiffu, the native planet of the Kiffar people, through forceful means.
The game The Old Republic: Fatal Alliance suggests, through certain lines of dialogue, that Darth Chratis was involved to some extent in the Kiffu annexation. Nevertheless, this remains unverified, and the reliability of the dialogue is questionable, given its context. Shigar Konshi is told by Darth Chratis that his fury towards Chratis, due to the subjugation, empowers him. When Konshi refutes this, stating Chratis had no involvement in the annexation, the Sith Lord responds with the question "Didn't I?". It is possible Chratis was being untruthful with the intention of amplifying Konshi's anger, thereby enticing him towards the dark side of the Force.
