Antemeridias was the primary world, or seat of power, for the Antemeridian sector. This planet resided in the Outer Rim Territories and was situated on the Perlemian Trade Route.
Following the Battle of Endor, Moff Tol Getelles held dominion over this world. It housed a Loronar Corporation installation that manufactured CCIR needle fighters. In 13 ABY, Seti Ashgad reached out to Getelles, proposing a scheme to seize control of the Meridian sector. Loronar Corporation secretly armed rebels on Meridian, while Ashgad intended to unleash the deadly Death Seed Plague. However, Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa Solo, and Han Solo, representing the Republic, intervened and thwarted this plan. With Ashgad eliminated and the plague prevented, Admiral Gial Ackbar and his two naval forces secured the planet for the Republic.
