Clone heavy assault trooper
The clone heavy assault troopers, alternatively known as clone heavy troopers or anti-air clone troopers, functioned as heavy weapons experts within the Grand Army of the Republic throughout the duration of the Clone Wars.
Description

These clone heavy assault troopers were heavy weapon specialist that specialized in the operation of mobile, fixed weaponry. Frequently, clone heavy troopers were equipped with Merr-Sonn PLX-1 portable missile launchers, DC-15S blasters, V-1 thermal detonators, HX2 antipersonnel mines, along with other gear typically associated with ARC troopers. The heavy troopers were responsible for anti-vehicle, anti-airborne, and anti-armor roles within the Grand Army of the Republic. While not as robust as AT-TEs or LAATs, they provided ground forces with a degree of protection from vehicles and aerial threats. A related unit was the clone heavy gunner.
Certain Commanders, such as Commander Bacara, utilized clone heavy trooper armor, including features like cheek plating and Kamas.
