Aoloiloa – a name that translates to "the entity preceding Lo and succeeding Il" – was a Cephalon residing on Coruscant circa 19 BBY, a period shortly following the conclusion of the Clone Wars and the establishment of the Galactic Empire. This Cephalon, however, opposed the Empire and became affiliated with an insurgent group called Whiplash. During this period, Aoloiloa received a visit from two members of Whiplash: Laranth Tarak, a Twi'lek Gray Paladin, and Den Dhur, a former journalist. Regrettably, Aoloiloa's capacity to perceive the galaxy in four dimensions hindered its ability to effectively communicate with Dhur and Tarak.
