Arbular, a celestial body, resided within the Arbular system. This system was situated in the Lambda sector of the Slice, which itself was a segment of the Mid Rim. In the course of the Andoan Wars, which transpired from 57 BBY to 39 BBY, the Spiverelda's forces achieved victory over the Free Colonies in a battle that occurred at Arbular. The Spiverelda consisted of a collection of worlds colonized by the Aqualish species and were under the sway of Ando, the Aqualish homeworld, as well as the fifteen planets settled by Aqualish, known collectively as the Andoan Free Colonies.
The reference book The Essential Guide to Warfare, released in 2012 and written by Jason Fry along with Paul R. Urquhart, marked the debut of Arbular. The StarWars.com Online Companion that accompanied the 2009 reference work The Essential Atlas specified the location of the Arbular system, and consequently Arbular itself, as grid coordinate Q-15.
