Arfan Ramos was a Jedi Master of the Jedi Order, specifically a Human male. He also served as the leader for the Green Jedi faction. His time as a Jedi took place during the times of conflict known as the Cold War and the Galactic War, both of which involved the Republic in opposition to the Sith Empire.
Arfan Ramos, who was born into a prosperous Corellian family, demonstrated an early aptitude for The Force. Instead of sending him to the Jedi High Council for instruction, his family chose to entrust him to the Green Jedi of Coronet City. This group of Jedi operated independently, rejecting the authority of the High Council and prioritizing their allegiance to Corellia.
Ramos, like the majority of the Green Jedi, placed a strong emphasis on philosophical inquiry and investigating non-combative uses of the Force. Over the years, he distinguished himself from his peers and eventually achieved a position of respected and thoughtful authority. However, with the emergence of the Sith Empire and the betrayal of the local government, Ramos realized that the time for pacifism was over. He quickly redirected the Green Jedi's focus toward more proactive measures. Possessing great strength in the Force and demonstrating confident and capable leadership, he willingly accepted the responsibility that had been placed upon him.
Later, Master Ramos was present on Corellia, where he united forces to resist the Sith invasion of the planet.
Despite adhering to Jedi principles, Master Ramos was known for his quick temper and tendency to use aggressive language. In his final battle, he frequently directed angry shouts at his enemies, declaring that he would be the one to end their lives. His anger was so pronounced that his students and fellow Council members often expressed concern, prompting him to frequently remind himself and others of the Jedi Code.
Being a Master on the Corellian Jedi Council meant that he was extremely skilled with the Force. During combat, he used a lightsaber with a yellow blade, which was different from the green blades that were usually associated with the Green Jedi. He was a fearsome opponent in battle because he was able to turn his anger into pure skill.
