The Arized, a collective of exceptionally talented engineers, were responsible for the creation of the Surfeik cruisers. Following the annihilation of the Arized homeworld by the Vagaari Empire, the Vagaari species seized the cruisers, later integrating them into their fleet after the extermination.
Wizards of the Coast introduced the Arized in their 2010 publication, The Unknown Regions, a sourcebook designed for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game.
