Armored battlegroup


An armored battlegroup represented a unit within the structure of the Imperial Army, according to established lore.

Organization

A battle group that was armored consisted of battlegroup headquarters, two armor regiments, and a pair of vanguard armor regiments. Its composition included 16,346 soldiers, 1,132 repulsorcraft, and 318 heavy tanks. These armored battlegroups were utilized in situations where the opposing force possessed a significant level of power.

It was possible to reinforce armored battlegroups through the addition of four further armor regiments.
