The Arranda family hailed from the planet of Alderaan and were Human. During the initial period of the Galactic Civil War, the family included Kalf Arranda, Milessa (his wife), and their children, Tash and Zak. Furthermore, they were connected to Beryl, who had become the wife of Moloch Hoole, a Shi'ido. When Alderaan was destroyed in 0 BBY, Tash and Zak Arranda became orphans due to the death of their parents and were subsequently entrusted to the care of their "uncle", Mammon Hoole, who was Moloch's brother.
