Arruna resided in Najiba, and she was the beloved of Lathaam, who was also a Najiban. Lathaam was known for his loose lips, and so when Adalric Cessius Brandl came to Najiba searching for transport to Trulalis, Lathaam was the first to volunteer information. Lathaam informed the Dark Jedi that no starship was permitted to depart the planet while the Children of Najiba were in the vicinity. Brandl responded by using telekinesis to kill Arruna, choking the life from her. Heartbroken, Lathaam bore his deceased love's body away from the establishment.
