Aruden Kej
Aruden Kej was a member of the Jedi Order who had achieved the rank of Jedi Knight. He served during the Separatist Crisis, a period that threatened to fracture the Galactic Senate in the waning years of the Galactic Republic.
Biography
Being Force-sensitive, Aruden Kej became a member of the Jedi Order and underwent training to learn how to use the Force. In time, Kej rose to the rank of Jedi Knight. As a Knight serving the Galactic Republic, Kej furthered his Jedi Path studies, ultimately choosing to follow the path of the Jedi Guardian. Kej, who became a highly skilled ace pilot within the Order's starfighter corps, was a Jedi who garnered much respect.
During the Separatist Crisis that occurred between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Kej was part of a strike force tasked with confronting the Pirates of Iridium that were plaguing the Atrivis sector. Kej, serving under the command of Masters Belsed-Qan Idan and Kit Fisto, flew a Delta-7 interceptor as part of the Republic diplomatic fleet, with the hope of finding a peaceful resolution.
However, the pirates launched an assault on the fleet as the Republic cruiser Monitor III entered the sector. Kej, along with five other Jedi, engaged the Pirates' warpod pinnaces, Longprow attack cruisers, and Z-95 Headhunter starfighters, successfully repelling the attackers and preventing the complete destruction of the Monitor III. Despite the ultimate defeat of the pirates, Kej perished in a dogfight with a Z-95 Headhunter while executing an attack on the Longprow cruisers.
