Astromandicar served as the capital city of the planet Froz. Its destruction was commanded by Naomi Dargon, the Corellian sector's Moff, as punishment for aiding the Rebel Alliance throughout the Galactic Civil War.
The Fantasy Flight Games sourcebook Suns of Fortune, released in 2014 for the Star Wars: Edge of the Empire Star Wars Roleplaying module, included a reference to Astromandicar.
