Attack on Cin Tykan's expedition

In the year 3643 BBY, a raid was executed by the pirate group known as the Death's Claw against Master Cin Tykan's research team. With the exception of the astromech droid T8-C3 and a forward detachment of scientists that Tykan had moved prior to the assault, almost all of the expedition members were slain.
