Aurek Squad was a group of clone commando soldiers, specifically a squad, that fought in the Clone Wars.
The clone commando Commander Husk was the leader of Aurek Squad, and they were part of a task force commanded by the Jedi Master Ezar Elasra. Elasra dispatched Aurek Squad to the planet Tirahnn on a mission as preparation for the main Republic offensive when his task force was ordered to recapture it from the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
The squad, accompanied by standard clone troopers and Republic operatives, journeyed to the planet aboard a LAAT/s. While they successfully avoided detection by the Separatist fleet in orbit, they were forced to crash land due to unexpected weather. A roggwart that had escaped attacked the crashed transport, but the commandos, troopers, and agents managed to kill it. Following that, the commandos put together their BARC speeder bikes and began their primary objective. They successfully sabotaged the primary CIS vehicle depot on the planet, guaranteeing that Republic forces encountered minimal resistance when Elasra launched the main assault on the planet. During the conflict, the commandos effectively blocked the primary path of retreat for the CIS forces.
