The initial reference to Aurra Sing's mother occurred within the "Aurra Sing" card of the 2015 Topps Star Wars Chrome Perspectives: Jedi vs. Sith trading card collection. This set was launched by Topps on August 21, 2015. The mother was first created in Star Wars Legends and was known as Aunuanna. She was originally seen in the seventeenth issue of the Star Wars: Republic comic book series, which was released by Dark Horse Comics on April 26, 2000.
