Autopursuit, a system found on specific starfighters, enabled the vessel to automatically track and engage targets, removing the need for manual control from the pilot.

Around 40 BBY, Obi-Wan Kenobi found himself piloting the Facet during a mission on the Leverage as part of the Mission to Pijal with his master. While on board, he unintentionally activated the autopursuit function, triggering a chaotic pursuit that ultimately led to the ship colliding with the bridge. This incident left a strong negative impression on Kenobi, fostering an aversion to flying such vessels that persisted until at least the conclusion of the Clone Wars.
