A Human operative and pilot, Aven Cholus served as an infiltrator for the Rebel Alliance.
Born into a wealthy family on Pencael IV, Aven Cholus was the daughter of affluent parents. She maintained a close relationship with her brother, Senn, and they both underwent pilot training during their youth. Their family intended for both siblings to attend the Imperial Academy. However, Aven, a staunch advocate for freedom, refused to serve the Empire. Seizing an opportunity, she defied her family's wishes and joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
Aven became a pilot within Scandium Team, an infiltration unit, under the leadership of its primary pilot, Jouffer Talamiin. During the battle of Gendrah-Narvin, Talamiin sustained injuries that forced his retirement, leading to Aven's promotion to lead pilot.
Subsequently, Aven participated in the Battle of Fendry, fighting against the Empire. She received the Alvace Star for her actions in leading her squadron to safety while being pursued by Imperial forces.
Aven also took part in the tragic Wellte-ir Massacre, where the majority of Scandium Team perished. Aven successfully rescued the five surviving members of the Team from the Umber Banks. However, the Scandium Team was disbanded following this event.
Rebel command reassigned Aven to Gale Team, where she replaced the previous commander, Ozik Poyiu. Aven struggled to integrate with the Gales, as they were all former smugglers. Conversely, they were uncomfortable with Aven as their commander, preferring someone with a smuggling background. Furthermore, Aven carried the burden of guilt for the Wellte-ir Massacre. These factors contributed to a decline in the Gale Team's performance, for which Aven was held accountable. She was subsequently demoted and removed from her command role.
For the remainder of her service, she worked as a shuttle pilot, until her retirement in the early years of the New Republic.
