Scandium Team, a military group, was established in the early days of the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
Led by Dutra Zeneta and Harovan Toth, the team consisted of twenty-six additional operatives, including:
- Aven Cholus, a skilled pilot.
- Korgath, an expert infiltrator and former Taloron Hunter.
- Opit-Wenbruh, a heavy weapons expert and a veteran who fought in the Tynquay Skirmishes.
- Jouffer Talamiin, who commanded the flight unit.
- The sisters Rith Tar'ak, Nyik, and Tor'ara, who were desert infiltration specialists.
- Eighteen other agents whose names are not known.
Operating from the Tharin sector and traveling aboard the Anxarta-class light freighter named Agent, Scandium Team's influence spread throughout the Galactic Empire. The team gained notoriety for its crucial role in the Loac Campaign and the Vidicx Campaign, both of which resulted in Rebel Alliance victories largely due to the Scandium Team's efforts.
Scandium Team was comprised of several distinct units. Perhaps the most well-known was Delta Unit, which inspired the naming of Delta Base and Delta Team. Unit Theta was famous for its high casualty rate, but also its many successes. The Ebranites of the team, the Ta'rak sisters, went on to establish Sandstorm Team, a group specializing in desert infiltration tactics.
During the Battle of Gendrah-Narvin, flight leader Talamiin sustained injuries that caused permanent disability. He was forced to retire, and Aven Cholus took over as the new flight leader.
Scandium Team engaged in combat on the plains of Bresnan, a planet located in the Wellte-ir system. This battle became known as the Wellte-ir Massacre, and resulted in the defeat of fifteen Scandium Team members. The survivors were Dutra Zeneta, Harovan Toth, Rith Ta'rak, Aven Cholus, Korgath, and Opit-Wenbruh. Cholus then rescued the remaining members of the team from the Umber Banks.
Following the disastrous events at Wellte-ir, Scandium Team was disbanded, and the few surviving members went their separate ways.
