Sandstorm Unit, a trio of soldiers, functioned as a component of the 28-member Scandium Team within the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
Their expertise lay in desert infiltration. This unit consisted of three Ebranite siblings, specifically sisters named Rith Tar'ak, Nyik, and Tor'ara. Rith was regarded as the most skilled desert infiltrator among the Tar'aks, opting for more rudimentary weaponry instead of utilizing blasters.
Following the Wellte-ir Massacre, where Nyik and Tor'ara perished along with 20 other Scandium Team members, Sandstorm Unit was dissolved.
