Axis, an Anomid of the male gender, played a supporting role for the reconstituted Sith Empire throughout the duration of the Cold War. To obtain sensitive data, Axis managed to get inside the Hutt Data Center located on Nar Shaddaa, a part of the HoloNet. Before he could officially pledge allegiance to the Empire, spacers connected to the Imperials brought about his demise.
BioWare introduced Axis as a non-playable character in their massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Star Wars: The Old Republic, which debuted in 2011. Kiff VandenHeuvel provided the character's voice acting.
