B-0F9 acted as a navigation buoy within the Parmel system. After the evacuation of the Research facility at XQ6 Platform, Imperial troops journeyed to B-0F9. The purpose of this trip was to move experimental models of the TIE Defender starfighter from the BFF-1 bulk freighter Mharsup to the Assassin-class corvette group known as Hashim, ultimately destined for Admiral Thrawn.
