Hashim was a trio of Galactic Empire corvettes of the Assassin-class. Their mission was to recover TIE Defender prototypes from the freighter called Mharsup. Although six Y-wings attacked them, Tan Maarek Stele successfully defended them. Subsequently, Maarek boarded one of the corvettes, and they initiated a hyperspace jump in an attempt to escape. Nevertheless, the Rneekii pirates, piloting the Strike-class medium cruiser Intombe, ambushed them. Despite the corvettes being rendered inoperable, Maarek Stele once more came to their rescue. However, while they waited for a repair team from Cargo ferry squadron Mssan, the Rebel Alliance launched an assault on the cargo ferries. Maarek thwarted the attack, but while his attention was diverted by the Rebels, Nami pirates attacked Hashim 1 and seized it. The Rneekii pirates reappeared in the MC40a light cruiser Sumpntodo, but Maarek Stele once again repelled them.
