Sumpntodo was a light cruiser of the MC40a class that was the property of the Rneekii pirate organization.
When the Hashim group, consisting of a Modified corvette and the Chief scientist aboard the shuttle G'nabgib, exited Hyperspace, they discovered they were in a trap. This trap was set by the Rneekii pirates, who used Ion cannon mines to disable their ships, hoping to capture them. While they succeeded in capturing the scientist, Tan Maarek Stele forced the pirates to retreat, saving the rest of the strike force.
Later, the Rneekii came back, this time with the Sumpntodo, which carried a squadron of Z-95 Headhunters. By this time, another group of pirates, the Nami, had already stolen one of the corvettes containing a prototype TIE Defender. Stele fought the Z-95s, destroying most, if not all, of them. He then boarded the Cargo ferry Mssan 3 to meet with Admiral Thrawn.
