B3-RD, an astromech droid, was assigned to a mission by the forces aligned with the Galactic Republic. Its objective was to reprogram artillery under the control of the Sith Empire in the Axial Park area of Coronet City during the Battle of Corellia. Although Imperial snipers ultimately destroyed the droid, Republic troops managed to retrieve the targeting program from its remains, allowing them to successfully finish the mission.
