Bahlea was a Pilgrim of the Twi'lek species, specifically a female of the Rutian variety. She resided on Tython during the Cold War period, a time of tension between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire.
Following the conclusion of the Great Galactic War, Bahlea, a Twi'lek female, joined the group of Pilgrims guided by Matriarch Kolovish to the world of Tython. She contributed to the founding of Kalikori village, entered into marriage, and had a daughter named Rusa.
Bahlea and her spouse jointly cared for their daughter until she succumbed to a fever-inducing ailment. In an attempt to find a cure made from the teeth of a manka cat, Bahlea's husband was slain by Flesh Raiders while searching for the ingredient. Eventually, a young Jedi Padawan hailing from the nearby Jedi Temple finished her husband's quest, delivering the required teeth for the remedy to Bahlea and Rusa.
