The Baradium Mine was situated on the planet of Denova and served as a site for extracting baradium through mining operations.
Following the fall of the Eternal Empire, forces loyal to the Republic, led by General Amos Rike, took over the baradium mines by displaced the Eternal Alliance troops. Rike intended to weaponize the baradium against the Eternal Alliance, but Admiral Bey'wan Aygo dispatched a small team to reclaim the location. Rike was killed during a conflict with the strike team, and the Alliance regained control of the mines. Subsequently, Alliance Intelligence informed the Alliance Commander that, despite the potential benefits of using the explosive baradium, maintaining possession and defending the mines would prove to be a resource-intensive endeavor for the Eternal Alliance.
