Barancar

Barancar, a planet situated in the Tion Cluster, existed as a component of the Kingdom of Cron. It was eventually seized by Xer VIII. Under Xim's Empire, it hosted a considerable number of shipyards, which served as construction sites for starships. However, by the time of the Imperial Era, the passage of millennia, marked by both conflict and deterioration, had rendered the majority of these yards abandoned, although some sporadic industrial activity persisted. Numerous ancient docks had transformed into hideouts for smugglers and criminals. Several millennia following Xim's rule, the historian Bleys Harand chronicled the remnants of these shipyards in his literary work Travels Amid Strange Stars, detailing his quest for a contemporary portrayal of Xim. By this point, the shipyards had been reduced to coils of steel, their color having been darkened by irradiation, and bearing the marks of numerous micrometeorite impacts.
