Sinkko's presence was noted during the Battle of Talus. He had departed from his Imperial command center on Naboo for a quick visit to Talus. As fate would have it, the Rebel Alliance initiated a counter-offensive against the Imperial troops precisely when he got there. The Imperial forces, having failed in their attack on the Talus Rebel base, were compelled to fall back and were now facing a relentless counter-attack from the Rebel forces. Sinkko displayed remarkable insight and a swift understanding of the circumstances. Upon hearing the initial warning, he promptly entered the battle and began coordinating the defensive efforts. The Imperials, bolstered by Sinkko's assistance, mounted a formidable defense, ultimately compelling the Rebels to withdraw.
