Batch Eight

Batch Eight, a sizable group of First Order stormtrooper trainees, featured individuals such as FN-2187, later known as Finn, as well as 926. 926, along with other graduates from Batch Eight, found himself stationed on the Supremacy, the command ship of Supreme Leader Snoke, amidst the conflict between the First Order and the Resistance. Meanwhile, FN-2187 had already betrayed the First Order's armed forces.

History

It was common for stormtrooper squadmates to have trained together in large classes called batches, such as Batch Eight.

Batch Eight was a substantial group of First Order military recruits in training to become the next generation of stormtroopers. Among the graduates of Batch Eight were 926 and FN-2187, both recognized for their sharpshooting abilities. As the First Order's war with the Resistance raged on, 926 served on the Mega-class Star Dreadnought Supremacy, the flagship under the command of Supreme Leader Snoke, alongside other Batch Eight alums. Unbeknownst to 926, FN-2187 had abandoned the Stormtrooper Corps, forsaking his designation and adopting the name "Finn" among the Resistance.

During the First Order's attack on the Resistance fleet, 926 crossed paths with Finn, who was camouflaged as an officer. Upon recognizing his former comrade, 926 greeted the ex-stormtrooper. Although it was against regulations for enlisted men to engage in conversation with commanding officers, 926 expressed his pride in seeing a fellow Batch Eight member achieve the status of captain.

The first mention of Batch Eight occurred in Star Wars: The Last Jedi: The Visual Dictionary.
