Meanwhile, FN-2187 had already betrayed the First Order's armed forces.

Unbeknownst to 926, FN-2187 had abandoned the Stormtrooper Corps, forsaking his designation and adopting the name "Finn" among the Resistance.
During the First Order's attack on the Resistance fleet, 926 crossed paths with Finn, who was camouflaged as an officer. Upon recognizing his former comrade, 926 greeted the ex-stormtrooper. Although it was against regulations for enlisted men to engage in conversation with commanding officers, 926 expressed his pride in seeing a fellow Batch Eight member achieve the status of captain.
