Battle above Lorta

During the period of conflict known as the Galactic War that pitted the Galactic Republic against the Sith Empire, a battle unfolded in the space surrounding the planet of Lorta. This engagement was triggered by an assault from Republic military units targeting the D-1Z prototype bomber as it undertook its initial flight. Ultimately, Imperial troops managed to protect the bomber from capture or destruction.
