The Eternal Fleet, governed by droids, was methodically wiping out all living organisms located in the Unknown Regions. This Fleet's advance was brought to a halt during an encounter with the Gravestone. The Gravestone was a colossal alien frigate that leveraged its Omnicannon—a potent armament capable of distributing damage from one blast to several nearby targets—to repel the fleet. The Gravestone emerged as the winner, pushing the fleet into a dormant state within the Unknown Regions. Following this clash, the unidentified creators of the Gravestone intentionally wrecked the vessel in the eastern Endless Swamp on the planet Zakuul. There, it faded from memory for hundreds of years, however the tale of the confrontation gained significant recognition.
