The Battle of Oseon represents a brief conflict. It transpired between the Millennium Falcon and forces belonging to the Renatasian Confederation around the time of 3 BBY.
Following an extensive search that spanned several years, members of the Renatasian Confederation, specifically those of Zero Squadron, finally located Vuffi Raa within the Oseon system. They believed this droid was actually the infamous Butcher of Renatasia, and therefore sought to eliminate him, along with his companion, Lando Calrissian. They learned that the pair was located on a private asteroid in the possession of Bohhuah Mutdah. Consequently, the five starfighters began a series of strafing runs targeting the transparisteel dome that covered the asteroid, with the explicit intention of destroying their long-sought target.
After successfully escaping the destroyed mansion complex, Calrissian managed to reach the Millennium Falcon and initiated its launch. As the freighter ascended into orbit, it immediately came under attack from the five remaining fightercraft that comprised Zero Squadron, under the leadership of Klyn Shanga. Following several unsuccessful attack runs by the squadron, Vuffi Raa skillfully executed a Luftberry circle, which resulted in the first casualty of the engagement. Driven by a desire for vengeance, a second pilot made a critical error, positioning himself directly within the firing range of the Falcon's quad-guns, leading to his demise. Presuming their target was still located on the asteroid, the remaining three ships made the decision to launch the dreadnaught engine they were using for interstellar travel towards the surface. Regrettably, one of the tractor cables failed to detach properly, dragging a third pilot to his ultimate destruction. The subsequent explosion then obliterated a fourth starfighter, while simultaneously disabling the fifth. The Millennium Falcon escaped the battle unscathed.
The surviving pilot was rescued by the crew of the Millennium Falcon and was brought aboard their ship. Klyn Shanga refused to accept that Vuffi Raa was, in reality, a droid. He insisted that Vuffi Raa was organic and was still the Butcher of Renatasia. Showing compassion for the aging soldier, Vuffi Raa convinced Lando to transport him to the closest port and set him free, which is precisely what they did.
The small group of fighters that Bohhuah Mutdah kept to defend his home were never launched and were noticeably absent during the battle.
