Battle of Palanhi (Galactic Civil War)
A clash unfolded in 10 ABY on the planet of Palanhi (Legends), pitting the New Republic against the Pentastar Alignment. This particular engagement was a component of the offensive orchestrated by the reborn Emperor Palpatine aimed at retaking the Core Worlds from the New Republic. These attacks were carried out by the re-consolidated Imperial warlords and steadfast Imperial troops before the commencement of Operation Shadow Hand. Grand Moff Ardus Kaine received the order to seize control of the Northern Dependencies, encompassing the northern regions of the Core. As a result of this conflict, the Empire gained control of Palanhi, setting the stage for an assault on Borleias.
