In the year 26 ABY, amidst the Yuuzhan Vong War that pitted the New Republic against the Yuuzhan Vong species, the planet of Ylesia fell under the domination of the Yuuzhan Vong. Subsequently, it was designated as the central base of operations for the Peace Brigade.
