Plot summary

The Mandalorian Boba Fett, a bounty hunter, awakens within his residence. After observing his father's reflection in a mirror, Boba embarks on a quest to find a bounty for the day. He declines opportunities involving escaped Wookiee slaves and high-ranking Imperial defectors, eventually choosing a dead-or-alive contract on a Devaronian named Bendu Fry. Fett enters a cantina where Fry is entertaining two women with a joke. As Fry delivers the punchline, Fett approaches him. Fry attempts to flee, but Fett easily apprehends the overweight Devaronian. To save himself, Bendu informs Fett about a Twi'lek Jedi Knight residing on a certain planet. Fett departs to locate the Jedi, seemingly finding his target. However, it is revealed that the Twi'lek is not the Jedi himself, but rather the Jedi's son. The father had actually died during the Battle of Geonosis. The son grew up and had a son of his own. Fett, recalling his own father's death at the Battle of Geonosis, decides to spare the Jedi, not wanting the boy to grow up without a father as he did. He then goes back to the cantina, vaporizes Bendu, and receives his payment.
