The Biituians were a sentient race, closely related to Humans, and native to the planet Biitu.
Concerning their physical characteristics, the Biituians were a species that shared numerous similarities with standard Humans. The primary distinguishing feature was their green-toned skin. Similar to Humans, they possessed a typical humanoid body structure and facial features. Biituians typically wore loose-fitting clothing, often exposing their torsos. A consistent trait among them was the wearing of head coverings that obscured the upper portion of their heads.
The Biituians, inhabitants of Biitu, maintained a tranquil lifestyle and culture, largely centered around agricultural pursuits such as cultivating crops and gathering fruits from the indigenous trees of their planet. Their architectural style was basic, and they exhibited limited industrial development, with only a small number of buildings and structures scattered across their largely untouched green valleys. They were known for their friendly and hospitable attitude toward visitors from other worlds. However, their peaceful disposition rendered them vulnerable to heavily armed adversaries.
The Biituians lived peacefully until approximately 15 BBY, when the oppressive Great Heep arrived. With assistance from the Galactic Empire, the Great Heep managed to seize control of Biitu and drain its water resources. Fortunately, Mungo Baobab, along with his companions C-3PO, R2-D2, Fidge, and Chubb, successfully liberated the planet from the Empire's grasp and brought an end to the Great Heep's reign.
