William Thomas Hader Jr., born on June 7, 1978, is an American personality known as an actor, comedian, writer, producer, and director; he, along with Ben Schwartz, contributed voice work for BB-8 in the film Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens.
He held a role as a production assistant for the 2004 documentary film, Empire of Dreams: The Story of the Star Wars Trilogy.
During 2011, Hader made an appearance in the video "Stand Up To Cancer - Star Wars," alongside other famous individuals like Samuel L. Jackson, Jaime King, and Emma Stone; they were recreating iconic Star Wars scenes, with the goal of promoting cancer research awareness.
In 2017, Hader conducted an interview with Mark Hamill for Interview magazine, in anticipation of the release of Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi.
