Located within the Bimmiel system, situated in the Outer Rim Territories, the Bimmiel asteroid field was an asteroid belt. During the time of the Galactic War, the Republic Navy attempted to establish a minefield within it, with the goal of disrupting the activities of the Sith Empire in the Kanz sector. However, Imperial forces stopped them.
