Black Squadron was a First Order squadron of TIE fighters that functioned as a military unit approximately three decades following the Battle of Endor.
The reference book Star Wars: Ships of the Galaxy, which was made available on Force Friday on September 4, 2015, included Black Squadron in the special schematics for the TIE/fo space superiority fighter.
