Blood Nest, designated M2398-2, was a sizable, yet bleak moon situated in the Mid Rim. Its gravitational pull was only half of the standard. The surface was composed of brown and red deserts, towering mountains, rolling foothills, and numerous craters. A group of local outlaws established their headquarters within a wrecked Super Transport VI, which they also called Blood Nest. Wraith Squadron was responsible for the bandits' downfall, but during the battle, Jesmin Ackbar was shot down and killed, and Myn Donos lost his astromech droid, Shiner, which was destroyed.
