Bondo served as the chieftain for the Travelling Jindas, who were a wandering group of Jindas residing on the Forest Moon of Endor. This corpulent Jinda was often seen adorned with plentiful jewelry and a red tunic. Despite his tendency to misguide his people within Endor's woodlands, Bondo was a cheerful and good-natured headman.
The voice of Bondo was provided by Don McManus. A Bondo figure was envisioned by Kenner for inclusion in their Star Wars: Ewoks toy line, however, the toy's production halted at the prototype phase.
