Borgan, a Whiphid security officer of male gender, existed in the era of the Galactic Civil War. Subsequent to the Battle of Yavin, he sought the role of Security Director at a clandestine illegal lab situated on Corellia. This lab was known for its focus on bio-engineering organisms by means of perilous genetic trials. In the year 1 ABY, Borgan commissioned a spacer to carry out a retaliatory strike against the lab, with the intention of exposing the ineffectiveness of the current security personnel.
Borgan was featured as a non-player character within the video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game, was the product of development by Sony Online Entertainment and publishing by LucasArts, before its shutdown on December 15, 2011. Borgan's introduction to the game occurred with the launch of "Publish 28," which took place on April 26, 2006.
