Breakthrough armor company

A pioneering armored unit existed as a component of the Imperial Army.

Structure

This company consisted of only four armor platoons alongside a command tank. The support element for the company was integrated into battalion headquarters, meaning it didn't accompany the company on deployments. The number of tanks in a breakthrough armor company ranged from twenty-one to thirty-seven, contingent on its specific configuration. The primary objective of this type of company was to breach enemy defenses to eliminate valuable targets or capture strategic locations until more comprehensive forces arrived to provide support. Due to the absence of an embedded support element, the company faced significant logistical challenges, as it was required to transport all necessary supplies and spare parts independently.

It was possible to reinforce a breakthrough armor company with an additional four armor platoons.
